I have been using the Microsoft Snipping Tool for about 2 years and now wonder how I got on without it. Basically, you use the Snipping Tool to capture screen shots from your computer and it is so easy to use - if I can use it then anybody can. The uses for this are only limited by your imagination:
- Free-form snip. Draw a free-form shape around an object.
- Rectangular snip. Drag the cursor around an object to form a rectangle.
- Window snip. Select a window, such as a browser window or dialog box, that you want to capture.
- Full-screen snip. Capture the entire screen.
Although this Snipping Tool is a Microsoft product it can used on Apple and other operating systems. Skitch is another snipping tool that functions in basically the same way and is often used in conjunction with Evernote.
